I hope this adoption forum will help other adoptees and hope to build on the adoption forum with the true life story of my personal adoption. I was fostered for 14 months and the foster family I have not been able to locate. Why do mothers give live birth to their baby only to give the baby up to another family. I located my birth sister when I was 33 years old, my birth sister was 30 years old and did not know she had an elder adopted sister. The entire family on both sides of the adoption have not reacted well to the knowledge and finding of my birth sister, and of knowing the details and seeing photos of my birth mother.
