Although I have since lost one sister (my adopted sister) I have gained a sister (a birth sister)

I will be updating my adoption story and search for my birth rights pretty soon, I was originally given up for adoption at the tender age of 2 weeks old, the family I was placed with were unfortunately not of the same religion and although they apparently attempted to adopt me, I was taken away by the authorities at the age of 14 months to be placed in a more 'suitable' family environment!

I still search for the wonderful family that fostered me for my first important 14 months of life, alas I have nothing to go on in this search and until information comes to hand, have had to put this search on hold.

After 33 years getting no where with my searches, my older (also adopted) sister finally admitted that she knew my original birth name. Okay, initial disbelief and shock that my parents had known all along, was quickly overcome by glee! ... But how comes the sister had access to my own personal confidential information yet I was not privileged enough to have had this knowledge%3F I had always considered my original birth details as a missing piece of puzzle, only a couple of pieces of blue sky, not essential to the completion of the puzzle, but would be nice to put them in place and finish it off.... and I did!  ]]> Tue, 15 May 2007 17:28:01 Adopted at birth
